Review: The Montblanc Meisterstuck looks more like a piece of art than a wallet. Made from Southern German full-grain cowhide, this wallet has been treated superbly to give it a beautiful shine, smooth surface and no leather smell. But be careful when you first get this wallet as its chrome-tanned leather is hard and slippery and needs to age a bit before softening. It's slim design doesn't help with its grip but makes it perfect for sliding into a back pocket and forgetting about it when you sit. It's not all about the looks though as it's very functional, with 6 credit card slots and 2 bill compartments on the inside. The credit card slots are tall, concealing most of the card and curve down towards the side making cards easy to pull out. The Meisterstuck is topped off with a metallic Montblanc emblem giving it a subtle elegance unmatched by other wallets. As Montblanc is known more for its fine pens than its fashion accessories, it won't be as easily recognized as other wallets in its price range but will get looks for its immense beauty and people will immediately know it's a very high quality wallet.
